Queryforge is published by RENYUAN LIMITED, trading as EchoVale Technologies, a company registered in England and Wales with its registered office at Unit 2B, Market Walk, Salisbury SP1 1BT, United Kingdom. We develop and maintain the app and we are the data controller for any personal data described here.

BThe summary
Queryforge has no accounts, no login and no server. It does not ask for your name, email or phone number. The SQL database it teaches with runs inside the app on your own phone. Your lesson progress and the queries you write stay on that phone. Uninstalling the app deletes them.
The rest of this document explains that in detail, including the limited technical information that reaches Google because the app is distributed through Google Play.
CWhat the app stores, and where
Everything below is written to the app's private storage area on your device — the sandbox Android gives each application, which other apps cannot read.

We hold no copy of any of it. There is no backend, no sync service and no account to attach it to, so there is nothing for us to look at even in principle.
To erase everything, uninstall the app, or open Settings → Apps → Queryforge → Storage → Clear storage. Clearing storage resets lesson progress and restores the training tables to their original state, and cannot be undone.
DPermissions
Queryforge requests no runtime permissions. It does not access your camera, microphone, contacts, photos, files, location, call logs or SMS, and it does not require internet access to work.
The SQL engine is embedded in the application binary, so no download is needed to run a query.
If a future version needs a permission to deliver a feature, Android will ask you at the moment you use that feature, and this policy will be updated before that version is published.
EThird parties
Queryforge contains no advertising SDKs, no analytics SDKs and no social network integrations. We do not build profiles of users, we do not track you across other apps or websites, and we do not sell or share data with data brokers.
The app is distributed through Google Play. Google separately collects installation, crash and device information under its own terms, which we do not control — see the Google Privacy Policy. Where the app includes Google Play services libraries, those libraries may process technical identifiers such as device model, Android version and an advertising ID for the purposes Google describes. We do not receive that information in a form that identifies you.
FChildren
Queryforge is educational software suitable for general audiences, including students. It does not knowingly collect personal information from children, and because it collects no personal data from any user, it holds none belonging to a child.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information — for example by writing to our support address — contact us and we will delete it.
GIf you write to us
We hold your message and email address for as long as it takes to deal with your query, and for up to 24 months afterwards so we can recognise follow-up messages. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in providing support. We do not add your address to any mailing list and we do not pass it to anyone else.
HYour rights
Under the UK GDPR and the EU GDPR you may request access to your personal data, correction of it, erasure of it, restriction of its processing, and portability, and you may object to processing. You also have the right to complain to a supervisory authority — in the UK that is the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

ISecurity
App data lives in Android's app-private sandbox, isolated from other applications. Because nothing is transmitted, there is no data in transit for us to protect and no database of ours that could be breached. We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to the limited information we do handle, though no method of electronic storage is completely secure.
JChanges to this policy
We may update this policy when the app changes or when the law requires it. The effective date at the top of this page shows when the current version took effect. If a future release starts collecting information this version does not describe, the updated policy is published before that release goes live, not after.
